Back Home before the Next Campaign

Back at the home ranch after about eight months in Yankton, SD raising funds for economic development. The YES! Initiative ended above goal at $2.1 Million dollars.

Fund raising, contrary to what some think, is the art of selling in its best definition - helping "clients" achieve their end game. With YES! it is obtaining a return on investment with the prospects of increased business for business owners. Or it was the ego satisfaction of becoming involved with others in supporting the community.

I'll watch as Yankton puts the funds to good use for business expansion and retention, retail development and workforce training and growth.

Jay, thanks for all of your hard work in Yankton. You challenged us; people stepped up. But that took a lot of work from you.

Best of luck in your next campaign.
